From the redwoods of California to the desert heart of Texas, Love Button’s journey continued across North America with Coldplay, spreading love and lending hands where they’re needed most. This leg of the tour brought us into communities deeply committed to feeding the hungry, supporting youth, caring for seniors, and uplifting those in need through dignity, service, and compassion.
Here’s how we helped turn love into action across the cities we visited.
Nourishing the Heart of Community in Stanford, CA
Our first stop in North America took us to Standford, CA, where we worked with La Comida, the first senior lunch program in Palo Alto County. La Comida is more than just a meal—it’s a space where seniors gather to connect, build friendships, and combat isolation with joy and belonging.
Our Love Button volunteers joined their weekly meal service, helping prep and serve food, followed by time spent in conversation and connection with the seniors who call this community home.
The following day, we joined Hope’s Corner, an organization that believes no one should go without a hot meal or basic human needs. They provide free meals, showers, and laundry services multiple times a week—serving over 200,000 meals since their founding.
We helped serve over 400 meals during breakfast service and supported their shower and laundry programs, ensuring that everyone who walked through their doors left feeling nourished, cared for, and seen.
Standing by Vulnerable Youth and Families in Las Vegas, NV
In Las Vegas, we partnered with the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, an organization that ensures young people facing homelessness have access to emergency housing, education, and long-term support.
Our team helped run their resource pantry, where youth can pick up essential items like clothing, shoes, and hygiene products. We also prepared a hot meal for everyone at the center, which became a moment of shared warmth and connection that left a deep impression on us all.
Next, we joined The Just One Project at their community market, where families facing food insecurity can receive grocery support, no questions asked.
Our volunteers packed and distributed food bags for the weekly pantry distribution, witnessing first-hand how one organization’s holistic approach to support—food, housing, employment, youth programs—can uplift entire communities.
Fighting Food Waste and Hunger in Denver, CO
In Denver, we worked alongside We Don’t Waste, a nonprofit transforming how communities view food recovery. With over 200 active food donors, they’ve rescued more than 50 million pounds of nutritious food and redirected it to those who need it most.
Our Love Button team helped assemble 500 food bags to be distributed through their mobile pantry program. It was a day filled with purpose and a powerful reminder that resourcefulness, when paired with compassion, can make a lasting difference.
Feeding a City with Love in El Paso, TX
Our journey wrapped in El Paso with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, the city’s only food bank—and one of the most impactful organizations we’ve encountered. Their 800 mobile food pantries serve 180,000 people, and in just one year, they’ve distributed over 110 million pounds of food.
Over two inspiring days, our team helped build, pack, and prepare hundreds of meal delivery boxes—filled with shelf-stable goods, fresh produce, and essential household items—to be delivered to neighbors across the city. It was a humbling and heart-expanding way to end this leg of the tour.
To everyone who welcomed us with open arms—thank you. Your stories, your strength, and your kindness are a living reminder that love is more than a feeling—it’s something we choose, and something we do.
Next stop, Toronto!
