Love Button Founders and Chris Martin of Coldplay Visit Western University of Health Sciences for Love Button’s Integrative Medicine Research & Outreach Program

Since 2019, Western University of Health Sciences, a private non-profit graduate school located in Pomona (California), has been the strategic partner of the Love Button Global Movement Integrative Medicine Research & Outreach Program. Through the College of Osteopathic of the Pacific at Western University of Health Sciences, it will offer the Integrative Medicine Track, a program providing medical students with the skills they will need to apply whole-person care to their future patients. A group of students will be selected to engage in an innovative curriculum that includes training in communication, empathy, art and music as a healing tool, and education in multitude care delivery modalities.

In continuation of Love Button’s commitment to complementary medicine, on February 15th Love Button co-founders Dr. Sadeghi and Dr. Sami and some of the board members visited the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences.

Western University’s Inspiring Dedication to Holistic Patient Care

It was an honor to tour the anatomy lab, where we were awestruck by the precision and attention to detail evident in every aspect of the laboratory. The faculty and staff demonstrated a deep commitment to maintaining a high standard of excellence, from the well-organized specimen jars to the cutting-edge dissection equipment. We left with a greater appreciation for the intricacies of the human body and the dedicated individuals who work diligently to understand it.

Our visit to Western University’s osteopathy department was equally impressive, with the faculty and students showcasing remarkable dedication and expertise. The department emphasized treating patients holistically and with compassion, reflecting Love Button curriculum’s values of healing, respect, and love.

It’s so fortunate to see that we are not at the end of the journey for medicine or medical education and future physicians are being equipped with the proper tools to not only survive their journey but lead the way and create a better path.

Chris Martin, one of our most committed Love Button Ambassadors and the lead singer of Coldplay, graciously honored us with his presence. He has fervently endorsed and spread our organization’s message of love and compassion, both through his music and personal endeavors.

Chris was extremely kind to speak with the faculty and students, taking pictures with those who were ecstatic to see him on campus. He spent hours chatting with students and faculty alike, making time for everyone who wanted to talk to him.

It is Love Button’s privilege to offer the Integrative Medicine Research and Outreach Program and to be of service to our human family. Together we will develop the compassionate doctors of tomorrow who address the whole person, mind, body and spirit, utilizing complementary modalities.
